Looking toward 2000!

This Friday and Saturday (11/19 & 11/20) the Unlimited Hydroplane Racing Association will be holding a series of meetings in Las Vegas in order to plan for the 2000 season.  They will also be celebrating this year's awards banquet.  Charlie Grooms, members of the Board of Directors and others will be representing the U-6 during the meeting. The meeting will take place at the Sahara Hotel.

The meetings will begin with a general assembly in the morning leading into various groups (owners, drivers, crew chiefs, race sites, etc.) having assigned meetings for the remainder of the day.

On Saturday, November 20th, there will be a UHRA Board Meeting for as long as needed. Individual groups will also be able to continue meeting on Saturday if needed.

We've heard that a lot of surprises have been built into the banquet so the entire event promises to be a great time! 

Cindy Moore, the General Information contact for the Miss Madison website will also be in attendance for the meetings.  Through her eyes, well be sure to bring back details regarding the 2000 season and post them to the site the following week.
